It is critical that correct safety solutions are applied to not only minimise risk in accordance with law and standards, but to take productivity fully into account.
A solution that has not done this, may encourage attempts to manipulate and defeat a safety system which negatively impacts productivity, putting operators at greater risk. In the experience of the MSBD consultants, appropriately designed safety solutions do not reduce productivity, and often improve it.
