Tailored in-house training courses and 2019 Brisbane public workshop, October 23rd, led by the chairman of the AS 4024 Standards Committee, is offered for management, technical and operational staff to cover the essentials of AS 4024.1-2014 (and soon to be published 2019 updates)  “Safety of Machinery” including other relevant standards such as AS 62061 and EN-ISO 13849 which cover the safety control system.

These practical courses take participants through primary legal requirements for risk control including the new requirements of the harmonised legislation already introduced in most states; the principles of risk assessment for safe design; the design of safety related parts of control systems commensurate with the level of risk; the principles for design and selection of guarding, all forms of interlocking and presence sensing, unexpected start-up, emergency stop and ergonomic principles.
